Apr 24, 2012. #9. On page 159 of my manual, for the TA engine it says to clean the dipstick, re-insert it and re-tighten the plug, then remove it and check the level. Pretty clear, just a shame they don't include a picture of the Max and Min marks, but the first photo here is correct. M.
It is a little slow, but it's great fun and easy to drive. The 1.4 needs more revs, and the 1.2 is a lot more flexible. My other concern with the 1.4 is if the timing belt snaps then it's going to be very expensive, but on the 1.2 it won't do any damage so you should just need a new belt.
