I got my GT in May 2021 and still have an MMI snapshot version of 07-07-2020 (33.11.2-MLB-AS-2028) and a software version of 3387. The last time I was at the dealer (December) they said they didn't have updated software yet, but something was in the works with some bug fixes. The ride height graphic is inconsistent after the car has been shut down.
Were you able to get the dealer to update your Q7, I have an early build 2017 Q7 running Software Version 0443 and I can't get the dealer to update mine. The real answer, Faelivrin, is that yes it should just be a software update, but Audi would far prefer to keep it as another selling point for the "new" model versus the "old" one. The only way you'll get it is if you upgrade the multimedia unit and the controls and retrofit them.
