I have a 62 reg Ford Focus 1.6 tdci Titanium X that intermittently reports with a message that reads " Park Aid Malfunction service Required " and i lose all power on the doors ie no central lockinkg no power too windows boot won't open and the only way too lock it is with the key inside the key fob . The problem is caused by a leaking coolant, and it needs a new 'Degas' hose fitted. You can fairly easily check yourself if the Degas hose has been fitted, and if it isn't, you can get one with us.
I've resently had the 'Engine Malfunction' light appear and the EML with the P2584 code (fuel additive control module) and sure enough on inspection I've found my Eloys tank to be empty! I've refilled it and reset the EML but the Engine Malfuntion light and bleeper still operate so think I will try my skills next with the 'Forscan' software.Posted October 21, 2018. Hey all! Took it back to the garage and they checked for codes and couldn't find anything, told me to keep an eye on it.
